On Wednesday, April 4, a committee of 12 Venturers from across the Northeast Region interviewed three highly qualified candidates for the position of NER Venturing President. The results are in, and we are proud to offer our congratulations to Katelyn St. Louis, the 2018-2019 Northeast Region VOA President!
Katelyn hails from the Spirit of Adventure Council, where she currently serves as the Area 1 Venturing President. She is a member in Crew 7 in Massachusetts. Katelyn is involved with her high school’s National Honor Society, Show Choir, Drama Club, and Microbiology Research Society. In Scouting, Katelyn has helped lead trips to six different National Parks. This term, Katelyn plans to encourage more participation in CSVE submissions. Her major goal is to work with the Region and Areas to create more marketing material to promote Venturing.
