From the National website "In order to recognize Venturers and Venturing Advisors who have made exceptional contributions to Venturing and who exemplify the Scout Oath and Law, councils, areas, regions, and the BSA National Council may present individuals with the Venturing Leadership Award. The Council Award is administered by each Council. The Area, Region, and National awards are selected by a task force of youth from the respective tier and are processed by the National office and shipped to the appropriate persons for presentation."
This year your region, the Northeast Region, has decided to award 8 amazingly dedicated and talented individuals with the Region Venturing Leadership Award.
