From VenturingFests, and Jamborees to weeks at your local Summer Camp; Summers are when every Scout can have a blast while leading the adventure! And although this Summer many of those big Scouting events might have been canceled or moved to later dates, we won’t let this ruin all of our Summer fun! To have a little fun, and get excited about future events, the Northeast Region VOA is asking everyone to reflect on the best Summer Scouting experience they can think of.

My favorite thing about Scouting is all the friends that we get to meet on our adventures. I’ve gotten the chance to meet new friends at the National and World Scout Jamborees (2017 and 2019), VenturingFest 2018, NYLT, NYLT Leadership Academy, NAYLE, and many other locations. Each of these Scouting adventures that I’ve found myself with more lifetime friends. The bonds I’ve grown from the other Scouts and Leaders I’ve me at are some of the strongest bonds in my life and I’m so glad to have gotten to experience these adventures first hand!
